#BookReview ; The Pleasure is All Mine by Shanaya Taneja

Trisha wants to be rich and famous, so she opens her arms for all the right men. She doesn't care if it's Sanjay or someone else. She has the beauty to lure and the brain to know how, where and when.
Sanjay is a happy man - with a beautiful trophy wife and roaring extra marital affairs. He dated a few, slept with many, but respected none. Until he saw Trisha and she was all he could think about.
A refined socialite and a renowned man's wife - that's the identity Bharti has lived with. Caught in a loveless marriage, she dares to break free and find herself when love comes knocking.
Breathtakingly charming and lovable, Ankit is a guy who thinks from his heart. He lives to enjoy life and makes every second count when he bumps into Bharti.
The only thing more shocking than the dark, dangerous pleasures they discover is how right it feels. When their lives mingle and feelings kindle, dirty secrets are revealed.

The Pleasure is All Mine is the second novel by Shanaya Taneja. As described on the back cover the story should come under the genre of “sinfully seductive romance”. The author works in the advertising industry & travels between Mumbai & Delhi for her work. Her hobbies include travelling & photography.

The story consists of 5 main characters, Sanjay Kapoor head of an advertisement production company, his wife Bharti Kapoor, Abhinav Deo a filmmaker also ex-partner of Sanjay, Trisha an ambitious young woman who wants to be rich & famous and would do anything to reach that spot & Ankit Arora a charming young man who believes in living his life to the fullest. The story is about how lust & hidden pleasures can be used to take advantage of a person & ultimately destroy them. What happens when the lives of all the 5 characters create a web of deceit, lust & fallacy. To know what happens you’ve to read the book.

As I go back to the back cover it says that the book is “an irresistibly sensual page-turner that explores having it all”, I can only agree with half of that sentence yes, its a sensual page turner but unfortunately it just ends at that. The plot fails to build up the story because its filled with raunchy sex scenes which upto an extent is fine but after that there needs to be some base on which they can be based upon or else its just a sex story. The need to build up the characters & scenarios have been extremely limited. The cover isn’t interesting at all also the title though have significance with the end of the story doesn’t have any relation with the whole book. New readers might enjoy this one.
