#BookReview ; Flying Without Wings by Rishabh Puri

For Milli Bajwa, life is at a stand-still. Grounded in the Chandigarh airport where she works day after day, she watches flights leaving for destinations she knows she'll never visit. Loveless and luckless, she would rather bury her nose in a book than face her grim reality. And then, on a whim, she swipes right on a new dating app, and finds the man of her dreams - someone who can sweep her off her feet and teach her how to fly. But the mysterious and charming Karan Singhania has secrets of his own, and a heart damaged in more ways than one. This is the story of two people about to find out how far they're willing to go for the promise of true love.

Flying Without Wings is the second book of writer-entrepreneur Rishabh Puri & has been published by Harper Collins & Black Ink publishers. The author is an entrepreneur of Indian origin with business in Nigeria, Dubai & China. He is also an avid traveler & a supercar enthusiast. He is based in Lagos, Nigeria but visits India regularly.

The female lead of the book is Milli Bajwa, a small town girl who works paycheck to paycheck & the male lead is Karan Singhania who is from an affluent family. Even though their worlds are totally different, they come close to each other through a dating app but as we all know life is never that simple. With the tragedies Milli has gone through & the secret that Karan has, will it be a happy ending or will it never work out? Get the book here to know,

Reading romantic books has never been my forte mainly because they tend to lean towards being cheesy, hence I hesitated to pick up this book but thankfully it didn’t turned out to be one of those. The language is simple hence made it an easy read, the cover is beautiful & the title is appropriate too. Even though the story was okay on its own, I felt it lacked some depth hence I couldn’t completely indulge myself into it. A quick breezy read.
Thank you Harper Collins for the review copy.
